New Bachelor of Dance Course



New Bachelor of Dance Commences 2015

The Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) is pleased to announce the launch of the highly anticipated Bachelor of Dance course in 2015, an exciting opportunity for students to take their dance training to the highest level.

Designed to equip and produce elite performers, choreographers and dance practitioners, this unique course will focus on students achieving technical, creative and academic excellence in the practice of dance.

Commencing February 2015, the new course will appeal to dancers who have completed a HSC in Dance, studying in full-time dance courses, studied dance intensively at their studios, or are/have been professional dancers who wish to upgrade their academic qualifications. The Course will be delivered by high calibre lecturers with extensive professional experience.

The Bachelor of Dance (Performance) can be completed in 6 trimesters (equivalent to 2 years full-time study). Students who successfully complete 4 trimesters will be eligible for an Associate Degree (Dance).

All AMPA Courses are fully accredited and Fee-Help is available.
