Julian is a versatile dance artist from Sydney who trained for fifteen years at Caper School of Performing Arts, for twelve years at the Kung Fu Academy, and later graduated from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) with a Bachelor of Dance. Since graduating, Julian has worked professionally with various contemporary artists and companies across NSW, including Emma Saunders and the We are Here Company in ENCOUNTER SYDNEY and ENCOUNTER GOLD, Lucky Lartey and Lucky African Dance in Blacklux: Perspectives in Timelapse, Cadi McCarthy and the Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub in At the Beach, as well as Shaun Parker & Company in Kitchen. Furthermore, Julian has worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on both the Voyager of the Seas and the Quantum of the Seas, performing as a Theatre Dancer Vocalist in Broadway Rhythm & Rhyme and Music in Pictures, and as a Royal Two70 Ensemble Performer in Starwater. Julian's other credits include various Australian music videos (KAYEX, Birdie), introducing Shaolin Kung Fu at the Big Top in Luna Park, and as Scott Hastings in Strictly Ballroom (OHC). In addition to his dance, Julian is also a pianist, having completed his AMusA in Piano Performance and teaching/performing at various music schools and events across Sydney.
